A Storyteller at Heart
Eileen Lubore was born in 1966 in Oak Lawn, Illinois, and raised in Rockville, Maryland. From a young age, she was captivated by the power of stories — how a single tale could transport you to another world, help you see through someone else's eyes, or give you the courage to face your own challenges.
Her passion for understanding people led her to earn a Master's in Social Work from Loyola University Chicago. Years of working with families and children gave her a profound understanding of the emotions, struggles, and triumphs that shape young lives — insights that now infuse every page she writes.
Today, Eileen lives in beautiful Sarasota, Florida with her husband Scott. Between the sunshine, the salt air, and the endless inspiration of the Gulf Coast, she writes the kinds of books she wishes she'd had growing up — stories that celebrate imagination, honor diverse cultures, and remind readers of every age that magic is always closer than you think.
